To escape our
feelings of loneliness we often throw ourselves compulsively and anxiously into
frenetic activity, or search for someone or something to make us "unalone."
To defend against our feelings of helplessness we attempt to control
people places, and things. We become addicted to shame with the hope that
it will protect us from a painful truth.
This six session Art Therapy group is designed to
help you:
- Create a place
of safety.
- feel and
manage your feelings of loneliness and helplessness so that you may face
repressed memories
- Learn that these
feelings are not deadly but liberating
- discover that
loneliness contain the seeds of new life
Be open to the message
pain has to teach us
row accept your
helplessness
